FGD Gypsum
Thanks to the incredible flexibility of the Eurosilo gypsum silo, 35 of these silos have been built all around the world, many of which are retrofits. The Eurosilo Gypsum silo is the answer to all of your storage space problems.
One of the major advantages of the Eurosilo gypsum silo is that the complete dewatering station can be placed on top of the silo, thus saving even more space.
To simplify your logistics processes, rail and/or truck loading can be situated beneath the silo.

The basic FGD gypsum silos consist of a small in-feed conveyor transfer station, a storage section and a reclaim tunnel. The Eurosilo mechanism inside the storage section is fully automated, which means that filling or reclaiming can be done at the touch of a button.
ESI has built silos both as stand-alone units and integrated into existing buildings.
Quite often, there is insufficient space available for installing the FGD system. In these cases, extended silo structures are provided and the entire dewatering installation can be placed at the top the Eurosilo® system. With this type of system, the FGD gypsum suspension is pumped directly to the dewatering installation on top of the silos.
The advantages of this type of system are savings on dewatering building area and vertical transport of the dewatered FGD gypsum.
For ship loading, the silo is reclaimed onto a belt in the reclaim tunnel beneath the silo.
As an extension, the entire silo can be elevated to unload directly onto trucks or trains for purposes of train loading, truck loading of ship loading.
