In 1994 UBE, in cooperation with ESI Eurosilo, has installed the first FGD-Gypsum silo at the TEPCO Hirono Power plant. Due to the facts of: cost efficient storage, effective land utilisation, low maintenance cost and reliable operation, TEPCO has choosen to install a second Eurosilo at the Hirono power plant.
